Douglas Kent
Mr. Kent reluctantly started eating weeds in 1979. Since then, his love of gardening and eating wild foods has enthusiastically grown. He has foraged the entire California coast, taught many foraging classes, and is author of Foraging Southern California: 118 Nutritious, Tasty and Abundant Foods (Adventure Publication 2019). My Kent is also author of 5 other horticultural books, works throughout the state, and has taught at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, since 2008. Mr. Kent's presentations are as insightful as they are entertaining and fun.
