Join Nicholas Staddon, The Plantsman for Tree Town USA, on a journey of discovery pertaining to plants and trends. 

“Our profession is never standing still” says Nicholas. “All of us need to keep learning regardless of the field we are trained in. 

Nicholas’s passion is plants. Learn about new and not so new plants that are performing well in our landscapes over an extended period of time in the Southwest and how to use them in the landscape. 

“It’s not just about water wise or drought tolerant plants, there are so many more choices out there. 

Get the soil and watering needs right and the sky is the limit,” says Nicholas. 

He will also cover a number of plant trends, both here and overseas. 

Lastly Nicholas is an avid reader and will have a short list of suggested books and magazines not to be missed. 

The presentation will last for 50 minutes with 10 minutes for questions. 

Nicholas will provide excellent plant pictures with supporting and inspiring narrative during his presentation.

Nicholas Staddon, has been working with plant breeders, hybridizers, and professional Plant Explorers for the last 25 years. Scouring the globe for new creations and discoveries in the plant world. Born in England, Nicholas attended Otley Agricultural College where he received his credentials in Agricultural Science.
